Sandra Davis

Sandra C. Davis (Burlington, NJ) grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA. While attending Moore College of Art, in Philadelphia, she discovered her passion for photography. Davis' imagery is about capturing remembered moments from the past. Working in several bodies of work, she explores history by photographing what remains from previous eras.  After a 20-year career as a graphic designer, she decided to return to fine art by studying non-silver printmaking processes at University of the Arts where she currently is a lecturer.

Davis has shown extensively in the region including Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery, The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA; Dalet Gallery, Philadelphia, PA; Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester, VT and Artists' Gallery, Lambertville, NJ.  Her work is in numerous collections including the Museum of Photographic Arts, (MoPA) Dubois Library, San Diego, CA; University of Pennsylvania Van Pelt-Deitrich Library, Philadelphia, PA and the Free Library of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA.
