Kevin Cummins

Kevin Cummins (Chester Springs, PA) creates photo-realistic etchings depicting landscapes of the Philadelphia area, from the tranquility of Chester County to the energy of Philadelphia and the serenity of a New Jersey beach. All his scenes are hand drawn in great detail. The grit of the aquatint and style of the etching give these pieces a timeless quality.

After earning a degree in economics, Cummins studied printmaking at the Abington Art Center and later at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia. He has shown at a number of Philadelphia galleries including Artists' House Gallery, City Hall and The Print Center. He is in the collection of the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University; the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Boston Public Library as well as many private collections.
