Qiaoyi Shi

Qiaoyi Shi is an illustrator and printmaker based in New York City. She has lived in many different countries, including China, Russia and the United States. Creating images of food, her work inspires her to travel and explore new cuisines. Her work translates vector based images into photo lithography. The process allows her to make unique experimental pieces.

Qiaoyi is the co-owner of YUI Gallery in the Lower East Side. Her recent group exhibitions include: Melted City 4 at Blanc Gallery, Illustrators 59 at The Museum of American Illustration and Vox XII at Vox Populi. She earned her MFA in Printmaking from Tyler School of Art and her BFA in Illustration from Parsons School for Design.
