Taken with Time: a camera obscura project documents the exhibition of the same title mounted by The Print Center in 2006. The Print Center commissioned Ann Hamilton, Vera Lutter, and Abelardo Morell to make photographs in Philadelphia using the camera obscura. The resulting images address the relationship between light, movement and time in photography as well as commenting on historical and contemporary issues of industry, culture, politics and religion in Philadelphia and in our greater society.
Introduction by Jacqueline van Rhyn with essay by Marta Braun.
Taken with Time: a camera obscura project was supported by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage
