This catalog documents Richard Torchia’s site-specific installation that filled The Print Center’s second floor galleries with ephemeral images made by capturing and redirecting various light sources—the sun, a candle or electric light—through lenses or a pinhole to create projections of the outside inside the galleries. Torchia transformed the galleries into multiple camera obscurae.
