The Moleskine Adventures of Blok is a wonderfully whimsical series of simple illustrations depicting the human body in varying degrees of abstraction. Silkscreened in black and bound within a small Moleskine cover, this hand-held collection suggests the rush of sudden inspiration found in an artist's personal notebook. Doctors, hunters, and a gluttonous amount of nudes fill page after page, evoking both the sumptuous figurative curves prevalent in a de Kooning abstraction and the dramatic use of line and shadow in an Edward Gorey drawing.
