Alexis Nutini

Alexis Nutini (born Mexico City, lives Philadelphia) received a BA in fine art from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and an MFA in printmaking from the Tyler School of Art & Architecture, Temple University. Nutini runs Dos Tres Press, where he publishes his own prints and develops collaborative projects with other artists. Nutini completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Barcelona, Spain in 2001 and has exhibited his work at venues in California, Kansas, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Washington, as well as in Australia, Italy, Mexico and Spain. He focuses on rigorous experimentation with relief printmaking techniques through hand-carved, reduction woodblock printing and the digital technology of platemaking with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) routing.
