Anthony Lazorko

Anthony Lazorko (1935-2017) created rich and intricate multi-color woodblock prints.  Lazorko stated "The focus of my work has always been to depict something about the American experience, no matter how ordinary, and to say it in an aesthetic manner with tactile surfaces, color and composition."

Lazorko attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA from 1956-1960. After retiring from his job as Art Director of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, he began making prints again.
