Jordan Oleson-Graves

Jordan Oleson-Graves (Atlanta, GA) is an artist, designer, and educator, making work with code in media including sculpture, textiles, printmaking, and interactive installations. She uses printmaking to explore variation within structured systems. Just as an algorithm can generate limitless iterations, printmaking allows her to discover these variations through layering multiple impressions of a single woodblock matrix, experimenting with unique combinations of linear and rotational offsets.

Oleson-Graves holds a BFA in Motion Media Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, an MS in Digital Media from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Oleson-Graves' work has been exhibited nationally including Atlanta Contemporary (Atlanta, GA), Westobou Gallery (Augusta, GA), McNeese State University (Lake Charles, LA), Gallery 85 (New York, NY), Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA) and Children’s Creativity Museum (San Francisco, CA).
